Pen-covered Mercedes-Benz

Costas Schuler saw a book about art cars 5 years ago and was fascinated by them. He knew he wanted to make one of his own but didn’t know where to start, until one morning he woke up and knew he wanted to do something with pens. So he started covering his old 1981 Mercedes -Benz with pens, and he’s been doing it ever since using pens donated from people all around the world.

Costas is known as The Pen-Guy and his car is called Mercedes-Pens and together they travel the country collecting pens and putting smiles on the faces of those who spot them. The Mercedes-Pens is now covered with over 10,000 pens both on the inside and the outside.

Brabus Mercedes-Benz Viano Lounge, the Incredibly Rich Techie's Van of Choice

The Brabus Mercedes-Benz Viano Lounge, which is so high-end it's called a "Lounge" and not a van (spoiler: it's a van), is chock full of pretty much the most impressive array of tech gear we've ever seen on four wheels.

A short list of included gadgetry: A 32-inch electrically-deployed LCD, Wi-Fi, included Sony Vaio laptop, PS3, optional (and ridiculous) Vertu Constellation luxury phone and an espresso maker, all crammed into a van with 426HP. It's still a concept, so there's no price, but it's definitely good to see a totally insane luxury car tricked out without giant flames on the sides.

Mercedes AMG SLS Gullwing Teasers Show Off Simple, Sexy Interior

Development is wrapping up on the Mercedes AMG SLS Gullwing, the all-new, 571 HP gull-winged velvet hammer from Stuttgart. A sneak peek of the beast inside.

Replacing the Mercedes AMG SLR as the top shelf offering from Mercedes, the SLS Gullwing is taking a page out of company history and aping the gull wing doors from the legendary 1954 Mercedes 300SL, but it's not looking back for much else. The interior takes inspiration from modern luxury jets, pretty much everything not covered in leather is raw carbon fiber or aluminum. We're really digging the row of buttons and knobs on the center console, though the 8000 RPM redline and 330 KPH (205 MPH) top speed marked out on the dials are pretty exciting too. The 571 HP V8 will mate to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with the option to row your own at the shifter or through the steering wheel paddles. The knob on the center console looks to be a suspension and tune control with four different setting. We can also see the doors will get a power close feature as their outfitted with a pair of linear actuators. Not too shabby a working environment if you ask us.
